Recently, I had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Stan DeJarnett, the Executive Director of the Georgia Vision Project. I interviewed him for my podcast. You can listen to the interview at this link...Teaching Learning Leading K12 Episode 41

The project is meant to create a clear focus for the future of public education in the state of Georgia. Its audience is parents, students, teachers, school and school system administrators. There are seven components to the Vision Project: 1) Early Learning and Student Success, 2) Teaching and Learning, 3) Teaching and Learning Resources, 4) Human and Organizational Capital, 5) Governance, Leadership, and Accountability, 6) Culture, Climate, and Organizational Efficacy, and 7) Financial Resources.

Over the next couple of days, I will post video talks from Teachers of the Year for Georgia explaining a little about the project.
