It is important that as public school educators that we take an interest in what the political arena is doing. It is also important that we exercise our power of the vote...but you can't do that if you don't register. They had sessions on topics from Developing a Strategy for Applying for Teaching Positions, Helpful hints for interviewing, Hints for writing that letter of interest, TKES, Differentiating, Professionalism, Ethics, Certification, Classroom Management, and Instructional Practices. They also heard from GAE and PAGE. Additionally, they participated in a discussion about why it is important for them to participate in system retirement plans.
